Its me again! I wanted to give you all a brief bio about my life and to get an insiders look at who I really am and how my fashion career began. I have been designing clothing for the public since I was eighteen years old, but skecthing since I was two years old. At this point in my career I have been blessed to be in so many magazines and have support from fans, magazine editors and celebrities around the world to continue to puruse fashion design and launch my clothing line and fragrance.
Some of the celebrities which I have had the honor to meet include (Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Jane Fonda, Betsey Johnson 'whom I did a design internship with, Hilary Duff, Brandy, Petra Nemcova, Adrianna Lima, Ashlee Simpson, Naomi Campbell, Tyson Beckford and many more! 'Genre Magazine in their March 2003 Issue stated that I was "the future of fashion", Beautiful Girl Magazine commented in their December 2003 Issue that I was the "next up and coming fashion designer." Teen People Magazine associates stated that I was a "young Roberto Cavalli." Sister 2 Sister Magazine's September 2005 Issue stated that "Jason Christopher Peters is a name to look out for as a rising star designer who shows terrific promise." I have also been in Beautiful Girl Magazine December 2003, Ok!, Star and Us Weekly Magazines in July-August 08 for five weeks in a row, Elle Magazine's Sept and Oct 2008 Issues for the Tyra Banks hit reality show Stylista which I was on etc. I am currently in Bleu Magazines Spring 2009 Issue, On the cover of Rags N Riches Magazine, and Iconography Magazine. I am set to collaborate soon with upcoming issues of Suavv, Upscale Living, Honey Magazine, YRB and Maximum Magazines amongst others.
As well as designing clothing, I also model and am a high fashion runway model who was recently on the Tyra Banks hit reality show Stylista. (You can go to http://www.youtube.com/ and type in Stylista for more info on the show).
Although I may be a celebrity in the eyes of millions upon millions of people around the world, my story about fashion is much more different then your average story abotu someone who is making it as a fashion designer in the industry. I was adopted and raised by my grandparents who also raised my brothers and I. My grandparents raised my brothers and I off off about 15,000.00 a year and no matter what always did everything they could for my brothers and I. A few years back, my grandma and biological mother passed away within a month of eachother. That had a huge impace on my life, but I am still determined to continue on my grandmas wishes of being an iconic fashion designer. I want to inspire people with my story and have a huge influential impact on the world and become a huge role model in the industry. My grandma has taught me everything I know about fashion.
